On Saturday, February 5, the Dutch teachers, who will  all leave for Kenya, on Thursday March 3 were introduced to each other. Besides this introduction, the two mentors, Jan van Aert en Jan van Dorsser, informed the group about Kenya's culture, language, the area where T4T works, the desired method of reporting and the do's and don'ts on the spot.

The teachers will meet with their Kenyan colleagues in Kwale, Msambweni and Kinango district. The topic of on which the participants will exchange experience is mathematics and particularly arithmetics.

Thursday morning March 3, the 29 teachers will depart to Ukunda.

Last November, the sixty ECD students successfully completed their first year. All sixty students have indicated that they will continue to do the second year. In April 2011  a new group of students will start the ECD. They pay half of the program fee themself, the other half is sponsored by T4T.
